  3. Becoming confident with emails

    Part of our complete courses for beginners series, this course will take you from the setting up of web-based email accounts to be being able to use emails confidently in both formal and informal situations. You will look at the different types of email accounts, how to alter settings, choose effective passwords and stay safe using anti-virus software, firewalls and other defenders as well as understandiing phishing. You will practise sending and receiving emails, adding attachments, setting up folders, organising emails, and recognising spam as well as making sure you can use email in a work-setting.
