What is the course about?

In this course you will practise and develop your confidence in the use of particles, these key words that connect the whole sentence together. Games, reading and listening activites using various sources will be used in order to make the experience as practical and fun as possible. This is an ideal revision course at the end of the year.

What will we cover?

Particles within the context of daily activites, holidays.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

• Identify the meaning and function of various particles
• Use particles and verbs in Japanese syntax
•Use particles when talking about daily activities or holiday.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

This course is ideal if you have completed Japanese Beginners 1: Module 1-3, or equivalent.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

Active students’ interaction
Emphasis on speaking, listening and reading skills
Pair, group work and discussion
Role plays
Use of AV techniques when appropriate.
