What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

All levels. Mobility issues should be considered as the course includes an afternoon walk in Regent's Park.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

The morning session will be at the Build, where there will be a background briefing on the park. You will be provided with a park map and directions on how to reach the park independently. We will then meet at the park after lunch for a walk. We may not finish the walk where we started, but information and further directions will be provided. If you are unclear about the travel, please let the tutor know before leaving the Build.

The walks will be slow and leisurely, and involve 10-15 mins standing

Please bring an A-Z of London and tube map, strong walking shoes, raincoat, and umbrella as the walk takes place whatever the weather.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?

No additional costs. Please bring pen and paper (or electronic equivalent)

If you already have any books or leaflets about the parks, or a tree identification book, you may like to bring these along.

As stated above, please bring an A-Z of London and tube map, strong walking shoes, raincoat, and umbrella as the walk takes place whatever the weather.

When I've finished, what course can I do next?
