An introduction to a range of construction and decoration techniques for hand-stitched leather goods and accessories. Explore the decorative qualities of vegetable-tanned leather and learn how to make belts, cuffs, purses, boxes and small bags in firm leather. Tutor: Katherine Pogson.
Learn all about professional garment construction. Gain fashion and sewing skills and an understanding of how garments are made. Learn sewing skills to make a simple ladies top. Men would also benefit from the skills gained on this course.

Learn how to make your own clothes. This beginner's course will teach you how to use the sewing machine, as well as basic sewing techniques and processes. Start by sampling, then construct a simple garment.
Breathe new life into old fabrics and unused clothing. You will be taught how to upcycle garments by deconstructing and re-constructing, draping on the stand, using design skills, textile stitch skills and print techniques.
Start making clothes with this unisex shirt pattern. Take measurements correctly, choose the right pattern size, lay out and cut pattern pieces, sew contour darts, invisible zip, sleeves and neck facings. You must be able to use a sewing machine!
