We offer an exciting range of printmaking courses for all levels of experience, covering traditional and experimental processes. Our short courses take place in the evenings, daytimes and at weekends, and are taught by expert tutors who are brilliant at communicating their enthusiasm. Any questions?   1. Photoshop for printmaking

    The world of traditional printmaking is increasingly dominated by digital technology. Screenprinting, photo-etching, polymer gravure and relief, and photo litho all require imagery that has been generated using digital image manipulation software. This course has been developed to provide an introduction to the PhotoShop techniques required in order to prepare imagery for these printmaking processes.

  10. Photopolymer

    Photo-polymer is an easy to use intaglio technique that can produce diverse prints. The plates can capture hand drawn imagery, text or photographic film very well, reproducing a wide range of tones and marks that can then be printed traditionally. Suitable for all.

  15. Build printmaking course

    This higher level, year-long course is aimed at printmakers wishing to develop a sustainable personal practice. Initially you'll be guided through research, experimentation and development tasks . Following this in terms 2 & 3 you will choose two projects as you progress towards a final body of work. The course involves a theoretical, contextual and practical component.

    18:00 - 21:00 Wednesdays and two Saturdays 10:30 - 16:30 per term
