    Consolidating the experience gained in year 1, you will pursue a more individual route, resulting in a body of work reflecting your own concerns. You will have one-to-one tutorials and will learn a range of skills from practising artists. Basic materials included. Entry into year 2 will be by interview. Individual applications from prospective students who have not undertaken year 1 may be considered if places are available. This course requires an application and informal interview prior to enrolment. The online application form will be launched on this course page in April 2018.

  2. Build fine art course: year 1 daytime

    Build an individual fine art practice by exploring painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media and contextual studies in a series of structured projects. You will be expected to keep up with current exhibitions in London. Group tutorials will help you adopt an independent and experimental approach to your work. The course can be taken for personal development or act as a bridge between adult short courses and entry to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Basic materials included. This course requires an application and informal interview prior to enrolment. The online application form will be launched on this course page in April 2018.

  3. Build fine art course: year 2 evening

    Course Date: Thu 20 Sep 2018 (and 1 other date)
    Location on this date: KS - Keeley Street
    You will pursue a more individual route, resulting in a body of work reflecting your own concerns. You will have one-to-one tutorials and will learn a range of skills from practising artists. Basic materials included. Entry into year 2 will be by interview at the end of October to join the course on 2nd November 2017. The course ends on 5th July 2018. Individual applications from prospective students who have not undertaken year 1 will be considered. This course runs Thursday evenings 18:00–21:00 and every other Saturday 10:00–17:00. Details of Saturday dates will be given at interview.

  5. Contemporary practice: personal project

    This advanced course in contemporary creative practice will support you in developing a personal project through research, experimentation, development and exhibition in a supportive studio environment. The course is facilitated by practising artists, theorists and curators.

  6. Developing art practice

    Course Date: Sat 13 Oct 2018 (and 1 other date)
    Location on this date: OS - Off Site
    This advanced course for developing and practicing artists consists of work-based seminars facilitated by peers and artist-tutors giving you the opportunity to develop and present your work for critical discussion. The course includes individual tutorials and mentoring, critical investigation and gallery site visits, an exhibition, as well as online discussion and debate.
