Removing cookies, Internet browse history & temporary internet Files

By the end of this course you should be able to...
Use the correct tools for searching the internet safely
Remove security threats
Disable unwanted ad-ons.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
You should be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions to support demonstrations, hand-outs and for health and safety information, and will be invited to take part in group discussion.
Please look at the rest of the course outline carefully to decide if you may benefit from support in your English and Maths skills to help you to take part fully in this class.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
Each student has their own computer.
Presentations will be made using computers, whiteboard, overhead screen and printed notes.
Step by step instruction, with demonstrations where appropriate, will help you grasp the concepts.
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
There are no additional costs added to this course.
When I've finished, what course can I do next?
Introduction to cyber security essentials, introduction to cloud computing, PC maintenance: an introduction, becoming confident on the internet.
