    This is a knowledge-based qualification that includes a 15-hour placement and builds your basic knowledge and understanding of the needs of young children, aged from birth to five years in a range of settings. You will learn about supporting children’s development, from healthy eating to planning activities and keeping children safe from harm. On this accredited course you can gain the Level 1 Award in Working with Children. This course will be held at one our offsite locations.

    This course is FREE if you are employed and earn less than £19,890. You need to have lived in the UK or EU for the last 3 years and be a citizen of the UK or a country within the EU. When you come for assessment or enrolment, bring a pay slip dated within 3 months of the course start date, or a current employment contract that shows your gross salary.

  2. English 1:1 tuition for Deaf people

    Unlike learning in the class with other students, the tuition is delivered one-to-one at a time suitable for you (please note that there are specific times when the tuitions are not available e.g. half terms etc.).     Do you want to learn the skills you need for office work or everyday life, and gain a qualification? Become confident in the core software applications used in every workplace: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and improving productivity using IT. If you pass, you will receive the BCS Level 2 Certificate in IT User Skills (ECDL Extra) This course is ideal if you have some working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel or have completed an ECDL level 1.

    This course is FREE if one of the following applies:

    a) You are employed and earn less than £19,890. You need to have lived in the UK or EU for the last 3 years and be a citizen of the UK or a country within the EU.
