The Tuesday evening ceramics course is excellent for both the complete beginner and an experienced potter. The tutor gives support as needed - coaxing and stretching one. Whether you are new to the course or have done it many times before (as I have) you are always learning something new. The tutor gives one space to be creative and produce wonderful pieces of ceramics - be it a perfectly turned bowl, a slab built vase or a piece of 'sculpture'. The class is always very friendly .

I'd strongly recommend the course to beginners and students with previous knowledge of Ceramics because the tutor is very skilled in teaching students at different levels. The course gave me the opportunity to develop skills in handbuilding, coiling, slabbing and progress on throwing. Techniques I didn't even know existed before starting the course.

Amazing tutor and fabulous course. I am absolutely loving it that I'm finally realising my long-held ambition to do pottery at Build.

I like the diversity of people on the course and that we are all working on such different things at varying levels. Lots of opportunities to learn from classmates too!
