What is the course about?
This course follows on from our popular Podcasting: introduction and provides an opportunity to further develop your editing skills by producing a more complex podcast.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...
Produce a podcast using different techniques and approaches
Be more familiar and confident with the editing process
Utilise advanced editing techniques.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
You must have attended the Podcasting: introduction course and have a podcast or plan for a podcast to work on.
You should be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions in English to support demonstrations, handouts and for health and safety information. You should be able to use numbers and be able to do simple measurements and calculations.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
Teaching will be mainly practical and incorporate a mix of solo and group activities and discussion-based learning.
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
You should have access to your existing social media account(s) and remember to bring with you the log in
details. If you don’t have existing account(s) you will need to bring a valid email address and its password to
sign up for a new account. This will help you to practice the course content during the class and gain valuable
Please bring a memory stick if you wish to take your work home or your access codes to Dropbox or other digital media storage.
When I've finished, what course can I do next?
Any course from our social media section including blogging with WordPress or Video blogging with you Tube.
