Ballet classes at Build are the perfect way to gracefully strengthen all your important muscle groups, whatever your age or ability. Our ballet classes take place in our modern dance studios in Covent Garden in the daytime, evening or at weekends.
This short course offers you the opportunity to get introduced to pointe work at a pace that allows you to understand how to execute the basic exercises correctly. Working with correct alignment and safely are a focal point and to address any issues and concerns you may have. To get the most out of this course you should have attended regular ballet classes for at least 6 to 12 months.
Designed for the complete beginner or for those wanting to go back to basics. Develop knowledge and skill in this enjoyable Ballet class which provides a fun and satisfying way to improve alignment, muscle tone, flexibility and coordination. The classes will also help to improve any other dance styles you might be practising.
We will focus on developing ballet technique using barre, centre work and allegro exercises. Suitable for those who have completed at least one year of our beginner's ballet classes or equivalent and have a good grasp of the basic techniques and terminology.
Floor barre is a wonderful conditioning programme for everyone, regardless of age and ability. Work through all the important muscle groups while safely supporting the body on the floor. All levels welcome.

Perfect if you've never taken a ballet class before, or if you did ballet as a child and want to return. This men’s ballet course provides slow and fun training in how to use your body correctly, with a focus on correct placement, stance and posture.
