What is the course about?
This course is designed to help you get your iPad out of its box and start using it.
What will we cover?
Overview of an iPad and comparison between WiFi and 3G
Overview of built in apps eg- Safari and Camera
Set your email account on your iPad and sending messages (must have email address and password for account)
Send and save attachments
Learn how to add new apps to your iPad (must have an Apple ID and password for this)
Move, delete and edit the layout of apps
Customise iCloud settings.
What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...
Connect your iPad to a WiFi network
Navigate around your own iPad
Download and use different apps including your camera
Email friends and family from your iPad
Customise your iPad and its settings to suit your needs
Optimise your iCloud settings.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
This course is aimed at beginners and you do not need any prior knowledge of iPads or computers.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
This will be a hands-on course, giving you the opportunity to explore your iPad. Presentations and demonstrations will be made and handouts will be provided.
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
Please bring your iPad and Apple ID and password with you. You will need to know the log in details to your account to download apps. If you want to set your email up on your iPad, you will also need to bring your email details with you.
