What is the course about?
The course will explore what needs to be in place in our lives so that we feel an overall sense of well-being. This includes the basics of movement, good sleep and diet, as well as how we care for our own mind and manage the feelings that come from living in a complex world.

Simple ways to restore balance in our lives
Discover what kind of thoughts make us feel empowered and nurture our well being
Methods to manage our feelings, so that we live more in harmony with our self and others
Tips and tools for a healthier approach to life.
What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...
Create your own 21 day self-care plan to support your own physical well-being
Understand more clearly what thoughts empower and disempower you
Use two techniques to transform negative self-talk
Practise a new approach to deal with negative and wasteful feelings.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
You should be able to follow simple written and verbal instructions to support demonstrations and hand-outs and for health and safety information. You will need to be willing to participate in individual reflection, visualisation techniques and group discussions and activity.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
This course will include individual reflection, written exercises, video presentations, group discussions, individual and group exercises and discussion, as well as the input and experience of the tutor.
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
A paper journal will be provided. Please bring a pen. A recommended book list will be given at the end of the day.
