Financial modelling refers to the development of mathematical tools to simulate business scenarios as an aid to decision-making. Knowing lots of functions helps, but it is the application of these skills whilst also understanding the financial concepts that turns a glorified calculator into a valuable financial model.

This course is about learning how to build a financial model in Excel from scratch through the valuation process of a given company. This will be illustrated by an application analysis of a publicly traded company.
