What is the course about?
Develop your communication skills in Dutch for everyday situations, at home and in your social life. You will learn the vocabulary and idioms you need to cope with those situations. You will reinforce and expand your knowledge of grammar through conversational exercises.
What will we cover?
You will talk about your home and things you did in the past; find out about the festive season in the Netherlands and Flanders and learn the language you need to organise a social get-together.
What will I achieve?

- Make holiday plans including over Christmas and the New Year
- Revise single actions in the past
- Revise habits in the past

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
The course is aimed at people who have successfully completed a one-year Dutch course, or have equivalent experience of the language.

You will need to be at ease with the use of numbers for daily activities (e.g. using money, telling the time, using the 24 hour clock, reading timetables).
