- describe the evolution of the manual alphabet
- describe the evolution of BSL.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
The course is taught in BSL and so you will need at least level 2 skills in order to follow the teaching.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
- pair / group work
- question and answer.
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
You are advised to bring a folder, paper and pens for taking notes.

Our courses Deaf history 1 and 2 cover this subject in more detail. We also have a range of post-level 2 BSL courses, up to level 6.
