What is the course about?
To improve spoken communication and interpersonal skills in the work place.
To build confidence and to develop personal effectiveness when speaking in public.
What will we cover?
Developing the skills of rapport through body language and voice.
Speaking up for yourself; presenting yourself with confidence.
Developing a presence as a communicator; engaging your listeners.
Influencing; building trust.
What will I achieve?

Speak up for yourself with confidence.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
Students whose first language is not English need to be fully competent in speaking and listening, reading and writing in English.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
The course will comprise talks, discussion, simulations, role play and observation, with opportunity for group feedback and evaluation. There is no work outside the class.
As part of the course content, your tutor may record your image for initial and ongoing assessment purposes. You are entitled to decline to participate in the recording of your image.
