Initiate discussion on topics of general interest and write opinion pieces on different topics. Use Levantine in listening and speaking.
What will we cover?
Religion, politics and cults in Lebanon, Egyptian festivals, festivals and shopping, money and the economy of the Arab world.

By the end of this course you should be able to...
Initiate discussion on topics of general interest and write opinion pieces on different topics.
Using connectors, word order in verbal sentences, Identify ‘’as for’’, weak verbs, Recognising category of nouns and adjectives that end with vowel.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
Arabic 3 upper module 2 or equivalent.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
This course will focus on cultural aspects as a strong aspect of language. Students need to spend time working outside the class to memorise new vocabulary and do some research and presentations.
