Introduction to LGBT cinema: out of the celluloid closet

Queer stories have always existed, but their storytellers weren’t always loud and proud. This one-day course examines LGBT cinema from the coded glances of the pre-Stonewall era up to the more complex and explicit depictions of the early 1990s.
